🏛️ Civilisation Simulator

Civilisation Simulator is a zero-player sandbox where you watch world history unfold from tribes to the modern age!

⚙️ What Happens

Watch as:

  • Hundreds of tiny tribes spawn at the start. Most get wiped out fast. The ones with the best balance of military and trade swallow their neighbors and grow into true empires.
  • Large empires eventually get too big to hold together. Civil wars break out, fracturing massive superpowers back down into clusters of bickering city-states.
  • Countries build industries based on local resources. Advanced nations will set up global trade routes to import raw materials from weaker neighbors and sell finished high-tech goods back to them.
  • Empires born from the same original nation share a culture. You can watch aggressive, militaristic cultures invade wealthy trade nations that focus too much on science or luxury.

🎮 How to Play

  1. Download and unzip the folder.
  2. Run Civilisation Simulator.exe (Click More Info > Run Anyway if Windows blocks it).
  3. Move around the map with WASD, zoom in and out via the scroll wheel, and use the mouse to drag boxes around and click for more information,  press H toggle hide all the graphics to speed up the underlying simulation

Has some deep simulation and can be very a thing to run in the background while you do other stuff and see how the trade networks form.
